When I was a teenager I was told that being a feminist meant you believed in equality. I learned 3 years ago that this is no longer true. Today radical feminists run the show, and they've gone way past equality. I work with fathers who can't protect their children because the family courts are so biased against men. NOW and the domestic violence industry has everyone brainwashed with false statistics and anti-male propaganda. They fight the shared parenting/equal custody movement by lying to legislators (I saw it for myself.) How can anyone call themselves a feminist while denying men equal rights? I just don't get it.     In my experience all organizations tend to expand and accumulate more power and resources.

    Those that are "theme oriented" such as NOW, PETA, MADD etc all have the same problem a Somali child soldier has after the wars are over and they don't know how to go back to being a human being because for them abnormal is all they have.

    These groups achieve their stated goal and logically they might be better off is they just closed shop and went home. But they can't bring themselves to do that. No one wants to simply put their weapons down and abandon all that power and sense of purpose.
    So they simply expand on the former thesis dragging it to some ridiculous extreme.

    Eventually they all run out of support and money but the groups I mentioned have still got their supporters snookered quite effectively.

    NOW was waylaid by the extremists because over time those were the people who showed up at all the meetings, did the grunt work, got known as good loyal members, ran for the offices, and got elected. Now those loonies are in charge.
